Types of cookies used

1. Necessary Cookies (always active)

These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They are used exclusively to provide services requested by the user.

Cookies used:

  • noestrum_cookie_consent: Stores your cookie preferences. Duration: 12 months.
  • Session cookies: Necessary for secure navigation and page functionality. Duration: browsing session.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (necessary for site functionality).

The cookies in section 2 are enabled by the "Analytics" option in the banner, those in section 3 by the "Advertising" option: you can choose them separately.

2. Analytics Cookies (require consent)

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages they visit, and where they come from.

Cookies used:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects statistics about site traffic. Duration: 2 years.
  • Google Tag Manager: Centrally manages site tracking tags (does not set cookies of its own).
  • Microsoft Clarity: Records, in pseudonymised form, how the site is used (clicks, scrolling, heatmaps) to improve usability. Duration: up to 1 year.

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on site
  • Geographic origin (country/city)
  • Type of device used (mobile/desktop)
  • Browser used

Legal basis: Explicit user consent (you can refuse or accept these cookies via the banner).

Note: Google Analytics is configured with Google Consent Mode v2: no cookies are set until you give your consent (see the "Google Consent Mode v2" section).

3. Advertising and Ad Personalisation Cookies (require consent)

With your consent, we and our advertising partners use cookies and other identifiers (such as advertising identifiers) for ad personalisation: showing you personalised ads based on your visit to the site (remarketing), showing non-personalised ads, limiting how often you see an ad and measuring conversions (for example a booking that came from an ad).

Cookies used:

  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited): remarketing and conversion measurement. Cookies _gcl_au, _gcl_aw. Duration: 90 days.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): personalised advertising on Facebook and Instagram and conversion measurement. Cookies _fbp, _fbc. Duration: 90 days.

Legal basis: Explicit user consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie settings.

Third-party cookies

Some features of our site use external services that may install their own cookies:

  • Google Maps: Used to display the meeting point map. Google may install cookies for the map to function properly.
  • Captainbook: Integrated booking platform. May use its own cookies to manage bookings.

Via our banner

  • Accept all cookies: Enables all cookies, including analytics and advertising.

Google Consent Mode v2

Noestrum uses Google Consent Mode v2, an advanced feature that ensures privacy compliance. This system:

  • Does not set analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them via the banner.
  • Sends signals to Google to respect your consent choices.
  • If you do not consent, Google services only receive signals without cookies or identifiers (for example a page being opened), used for aggregated statistics and modelled conversion measurement. Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity are not loaded.
